Welcome back to another episode of The Victory Road, the only Pokémon news outlet not setting you up for a broken heart by promising a Dunsparce evo in Scarlet & Violet. Let's do this.
Scarlet & Violet Leaks and a snippet of fact
Gonna take a quick moment to talk about leaks. Not the leeks Farfetch'd carry around in their little wings, the kind that come whenever a new game is in the works.
Love em, hate em, or gotta catch em all, leaks are part of gaming culture on the internet. While some creators (think OMG-faced YouTubers 😱😱😱) might cover every "leak" from someone's cousin's mother's office plant that works at Gamefreak, here at The Victory Road, we stick to facts. If you want your grainy screenshots of dubious origins that's great! They aren't hard to find. If you don't want the game spoiled, you can trust us to have your back
HOWEVER, we did get one official update recently that's music to my ears. Hold on to your Pokéballs and listen to the Scarlet and Violet orchestral showcase of the main theme recently released by The Pokémon Company. Jamming out while I write the rest of this email.
Hisuian forms announced for GO
If your Pokémon GO collection just isn't complete without a Hisuian Growlithe pupper, you're in luck! Hisuian forms of Growlith, Qwilfish, Voltorb, and Sneasel are set to make their GO debut beginning Wednesday, July 27 at 10 a.m. local time. These four will also hatch from 7km eggs.
The event runts through Tuesday, August 2, at 8 p.m. local time and thanks to some valiant trainers, we've got Ultra Unlock rewards coming our way on Sunday, July 31, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. local time. Hisuian Braviary is set to make its raid debut! (P.S. Did anyone else want to punch every hyper-aggressive little Rufflet in the face in Legends Arceus or was that just me?)
More countries are getting the TCG Live Beta App
About dang time, amirite? After launching a limited beta exclusive to Canada, the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live is coming to Australia, New Zealand, Canada (expand release) and Mexico. English, French and Spanish languages are supported.
