Pokémon HOME at last

Howdy howdy and welcome to another week of news here on The ole Victory Road. Spring is in the air, the Glooms are in bloom, now let's get to the news:

Home at last

I teased it last week, now we can officially roll out the good news: Pokémon Home 2.0 with compatibility for Brilliant Diamon/Shining Pearl and Legends Arceus is here.

There's really not too much else to announce other than get to work on your shiny, perfect IV, all-female Living Dex, or whatever crazy collecting task you've punished challenged yourself to complete.

Some Pokémon's moves will c hanged depending on which game they're transferred to, but they'll change back to their original moveset when returned to their game of origin. Like we've experienced before, some Pokémon transferred from Let's Go can't be returned, either. Pokémon GO TCG Expansion says you just got punk'd

Earlier this week, the Pokémon Company revealed some new cards in the Pokémon GO TCG Expansion releasing on July 1 (p.s. preorders on the official website are open). In additional to a Melmetal VMAX card that would make Iron Man jealous, other notable reveals were the Kanto Legendary Birds Trio and a Bibarel that's being photobombed by Smeargle.

But the biggest gimmick/new feature that caused a stir last week was a little sticky. Specifically, cards marked with a Ditto icon in the bottom left hand corner. The top layer of the card peels off and is a... wait for it... STICKER. Beneath, you'll find a Ditto card.

Honestly... not sure what to think about this. Of course, the immediate question from the card scalpers collectors out there was if the card was worth more with the sticker on or off.

Related to official TCG rules, the Pokémon who is on the sticker over Ditto is NOT a legal card that can be used in competitive matches but the Ditto underneath is totally legit.  There was no list of Pokémon that might be masquerading as Ditto but I personally hope a bunch of Charizards and Shiny Mews are included among the imposters

Ditto back at it again with the ultimate switcheroo prank.

There's a Chansey you missed this cool stuff:
