It's been a hot minute since we've had any news for Scarlet and Violet, and now with Comic Con in the rearview mirror, fans are getting mighty fed up with the lack of news. This all came to head earlier today when some YouTube joker changed his profile pic and put out this tweet which got picked up by the Twitter algos:

A pretty lame joke, IMO. Just to be clear, this is totally fake news. There is no trailer coming tomorrow morning. However, this next image is totally real. Once again, the Pokémon Company has created an abomination with their tardiness. First Turtwig, now poor Sudowoodo. Trigger warning: he's getting a new pair of arms every day another Scarlet/Violet trailer isn't released. Feast your eyes upon this eldritch abomination:

Pokétoon final episode premiere

This Friday, August 5, the final Pokétoon episode airs FO FREE on the Pokémon TV app/channel. If you haven't checked these out yet, give them a go! Each is done in a different animation style with different storytelling choices as well. They're great during a quick lunch or anytime you need a break (aka procrastination entertainment).

My favorites so far are Blossom's Dream and Wait for me, Magikarp.
