The Victory Road 4-17-22
Happy Easter from The Victory Road. Here's hoping you got your Togepis dunked and decorated from the holiday. Just don't hard boil them, okay?
After a couple weeks on hiatus we're back, better than ever, and on a new email platform that isn't as janky as Missingno's sprite. Hope you like the new look.
Who needs Hamilton? Pokémon: The Musical
Apparently this never came to a city near me but it's a thing. Or maybe it's part of the Mandela Effect alternate reality. Either way, Pokemon Live! existed and if you don't believe me, you can watch this documentary. The show was never released on VHS or DVD so this may be your only chance to catch the REAL first ever live action Pokémon production. (We see your false claims for what they are, Detective Pikachu).
Gotta cite them all
There are dozens of artists who have created art for the Pokémon TCG over the years. Depending on your familiarity with the space, the names Ken Sugimori and James Turner probably come to mind. Well, one fan has made it his mission to document/credit every single designer who ever drew a Pokémon card. (Joke's on him because he never asked about the ULTRA CHARIZARD card I designed on a piece of graph paper during fourth grade Language Arts).
The name of this noble chronicler is Altruis and you can check out all of their work on this Bulbapedia wiki. There's some cool stuff there, like the fact that one Gen 1 artist ONLY designed Eevee, Jolteon and Flareon. My favroite is Emi Yoshida, who literally only created Happiny (at least that we know of so far).
Turtwig still fighting the good fight for Pokémon Home
In case you're wondering where we stand with this. Things are getting leafy for our poor little turtle friend.

Here's hoping your Easter Baskets are full of Rare Candies.
